Graphic design is quite a big concept - every man made thing needs designing before it becomes a reality, and if that thing is visible, then it could be argued to be 'graphically designed'.

 

But in this context, we refer to the thought process that goes on before a piece of literature or digital presentation is created. The positioning of images, the style of a typeface, the overall colour feel, the way illustrations are applied to a page... these are all considerations that must be made in the process of 'graphic design'.

 

We first started in business as 'graphic designers' and the art of graphic design has remained an important fundamental across all the new media that we have expanded into.
