Well, that’s the history done and dusted – it started a long long time ago and frankly makes me feel older than I am, each time I have to rewind. So time to fast forward back to the present and get on with life. At this moment in time, I’m a digital media designer – which means I design digital media – which means websites, animations, digital video and all the stuff you can distribute digitally – information architecture, digital communication – call it what you want, but this isn’t the time to try and define the meaning. People ask me what I do for a living.. “well I design and make stuff -can we just leave it at that?”…”But what’s your job title?”…”Well it used to be ‘graphic designer, animator, videographer, musician, photoillustrator, art director…. now it’s information architect, digital media designer, visual correctional facility supervisor, flash monkey, that bloke who will make things look nice… etc etc etc..” whatever! – I’ve been working for myself for over 12 years and if you want to know more about what I do for a living, then go to menagerie.co.uk
