Sound is often an overlooked form of creative media but in reality it's one of the most powerful ways of emphasising or changing the total multimedia experience.

Consider a video of the moon landings with the soundtrack from 2001 A Space Oddysey - the total viewing experience takes a dramatic stance which is true to the occasion. However, if you played the same video but with the theme from 'The Archers' or 'The Beverly Hillbillies' the whole occassion would take on a whole new slightly less dramatic feel.
